Description

This shirt, by our friends at Dirtco, is a comfy blend of combed ring spun Cotton and Polyester. The artwork is a mellow yellow on Cardinal Red shirt color.

The Tokul shirt celebrates our loamy Washington State soil. The name Tokul is derived from a small community and creek in King County, 20 miles east of Seattle. The State of Washington has more than 1,000,000 acres of Tokul soils. These soils are on the western side of the Cascade Mountains along the Puget Trough, from south of Seattle north to the Canadian border. Washington was the first state to recognize soils that formed in volcanic ash (Andisols) as a state soil. More information on our state soil can be found here.

$8.00 from the sale of every shirt helps build and maintain trails at Tokul.

This Shirt Supports Our Trails

Dan Saimo, the owner of Dirtco, and Justin Vander Pol, the founder of Abit Gear, are long-time mountain bike advocates and trail builders. Our goal is to build stoke and use these shirts to celebrate the power of volunteer trail builders in making the PNW the premier location for getting rowdy on a mountain bike.

Dan and Justin have thrown a lot of dirt at Tokul. Dan and the DirtCorps team built Tokyo Drift, Goose Chase, Megawatt, Between 2 Fernz, and others. Justin and the Highlife Crew (HLC) built Crazy Ivan, KGB, Last Frontier, Flowtron 3000, and more. Our two crews often build together, and a lot of partying went into crafting these trails!

We donate $8.00 from the sale of each shirt to supporting the efforts of volunteer builders and Evergreen at the Tokul riding area.

Trail Building at Tokul

We encourage everyone to get out and volunteer to build trails. It's incredibly rewarding and can be one heck of a party! Here is a listing of Evergreen work parties you can join.

See you on the trails!
